News: Busiest All Round Month For Several Years
June for us was our best month in all-round activity for several years. This conflicts with many commentators’ reports of market activity for June. Andrew Dewar our Joint Senior Partner presents the reasons why he believes this to be the case.
“In simple terms, it is positive thinking, positive actions and relentless an unending determination by my staff to succeed. Yes, these are different times than we have been used to, but there are plenty of people with a desire/need to buy and sell to make a good, stable market. With prices not really moving up or down, it is a much calmer place to be when moving home.
What is different however is the level of support, advice and encouragement needed by much of the public to keep them confident and motivated. And in testing markets like we have today, the sheer depth of experience knowledge and professionalism of estate agents really makes the difference.
I am very lucky to have such excellent, long-term staff who really have stepped up to the plate to add even more to the equation for our customers and I am in no doubt whatsoever that this is the principal factor as to why we have been so successful for our clients in this the current market. Not only have we intensified our training over the last 18 months, we have changed the way many things used to be done, to compensate for these more challenging times.
